Submission of camera-ready paper

The EDAS portal is now accepting camera-ready submissions of accepted papers.

All four-page, double columned contributions must be submitted using the EDAS on-line system. Enter EDAS by clicking here

Poster Information

We will provide a 46 inch x 46 inch space for displaying posters. There will be sufficient poster board space that all posters can be displayed for the entire day of the session during which the poster is to be presented. Accordingly authors are encouraged to put up their poster as early as possible in the day of its presentation.

Boards will be labeled with the paper identifying number, e.g., MC4-5, for the fifth paper of the 4th poster session of the C time slot on Monday afternoon. The technical program lists the session assignments. Tacks and/or tape will be provided.

Tip for exporting IEEExplore compatible pdfs for figures

Figures generated in MATLAB and exported using the "File/Export" menu route in MATLAB will produce pdfs that do have not all fonts embedded in them.

IEEE requires that all fonts be embedded and you will see a warning to this effect when you submit your compiled PDF on EDAS. A way around that is to use the export_fig command in MATLAB as:

>> export_fig(gcf,'FontMode','fixed','FontSize',10,'Color','filename.pdf');

You may download the export_fig package from here.

Using IEEE PDF eXpress to check compatibiliy

Authos may check their final submission for pdf compatibility at the IEEE PDF eXpress website. To create an account click here and enter the Conference ID ssp12wkx in the appropriate field.

Final Manuscript Guidelines

• Use the most current version of Microsoft Word, which will help reduce word-to-pdf conversion issues such as embedded fonts, bookmarks, etc.

• No page numbers and no headers/footers.

• A non-zero PDF top and bottom margins (typically, at least 0.5 inches) to help indicate if there are any page numbers.
