Sid Meier's Game Design Boot Camp is a unique opportunity for young game developers to engage in intensive study with leaders from industry and academia in the area of game development.
Sid MeierThe workshop will be led by U-M Computer Science alumnus Sid Meier, the developer of Civilization, Railroad Tycoon, Pirates!, and other highly influential, groundbreaking games. Sid is Founder and Director of Creative Development for Firaxis Games and is ranked 2nd in IGN's list of Top 100 Game Creators of All Time. John LairdJohn Laird is the John L. Tishman Professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Michigan. He has 10 years' experience in teaching game design and development at University. |
